We should have known...
On Monday we released our first feature-length documentary, a milestone in our career that we've been chasing for years.
The entire experience went nothing like we expected.
We thought our first documentary would be debuted at a film festival, but it made perfect sense that it would be released on YouTube, the home for our work since the beginning.
We thought we'd make our first documentary by ourselves, but of course it was accomplished via collaboration -- the way our best work has always come to life.
We thought our first documentary would take months, but weren't surprised when it was completed in a week's time.
Constraints have always guided our creativity.
It goes to show that you can only connect the dots looking backwards, and that it's nearly impossible to do so forwards.
The film is called "Frozen Alive" and follows a 4 day journey that our friends Yes Theory took with superhuman endurance Athlete Wim Hof.
We came in to associate produce, write and edit the film.
One thing is for sure, premiering our work in front of a live audience (which we did Sunday night in Venice) was a rush we'll never forget and that we can't wait to do again.
This is only the beginning.
We're extremely grateful to Yes Theory for bringing us on to help tell their story.
We'd love for you to check it out below and let us know what you think.
Below you’ll see some photos from the premiere.
