About Colin and Samir

Colin and Samir are a filmmaking and hosting duo based out of downtown Los Angeles. They are comprised of Colin Rosenblum and Samir Chaudry and met during their time building The Lacrosse Network(TLN), a popular media destination for the sport of lacrosse. In 2014 TLN was acquired by New York-based media company Whistle Sports and both Colin and Samir became employees of the company. During this time they were responsible for executing branded content deals with Nike, Under Armour, Marriott, Gatorade, and General Mills among others. In 2016 they left Whistle Sports to start a media company of their own. Their content can be found on YouTube at YouTube.com/ColinandSamir. They remain hosts and creative consultants to Whistle Sports/TLN.

About Colin

Colin grew up in Princeton Junction, New Jersey and attended The Hun School of Princeton. He went on to study Economics and Italian at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Upon graduation, Rosenblum bought a DSLR camera off of Craiglist and began teaching himself how to film and edit. His six episode web series “Club Ball” documented the 2012 University of Colorado Lacrosse team and was distributed on The Lacrosse Network. In May of 2013 he moved to Los Angeles to help build the network with co-founders Samir Chaudry and Julien Berndt serving as the Creative Director for the brand. He worked closely with professional lacrosse player Paul Rabil, helping to launch and create content for his YouTube channel and executed numerous branded campaigns. Colin currently resides in Santa Monica.

About Samir

Chaudry grew up in the Pacific Palisades and attended the Harvard-Westlake school. He went on to attend UC-Santa Cruz where he studied film and played lacrosse. During his freshman year he was asked to start the first ever lacrosse program at the Pacific Collegiate School(PCS). After leading PCS to a State Championship in 2011, Chaudry was approached by YouTube to bring lacrosse content to the platform. In 2012 he and co-founder Julien Berndt started The Lacrosse Network, a media destination for the sport of lacrosse. Upon acquisition of the company by Whistle Sports, Chaudry became the Director of Partnerships and was responsible for building out the LA office as well as executing branded content deals for brands like Nike, Under Armour, Marriott, Gatorade, and General Mills among others. He currently lives in Echo Park.
